Dear members,

I, on behalf of Governing Body of Bangiya Parishad, wish you all along with your family and friends a Happy Prosperous New Year-2022. Hope this new year will bring all the success and happiness in everyone’s life.

Till date we did all our scheduled programs as per our Event Calendar. We have a number of events lined up for January’22 & Fabruary’22. We have the following four events till Feb’22. At the same time the new COVID19- Omicron is spreading like anything. We have to be very cautious while we will organise any event. In our last Governing Body Meeting we have decided the following.

1.  Poush Mela / Khai Khai Utsab : Scheduled on 16th Jan’22 (Sunday). We will take a final call whether to observe Poush Mela or not based on the prevailing Covid situation latest by 12th Jan’22. Participants who wish to put up stall to sell Home made Foods may forward their names to Shimanti Banerjee @ 98999 30766. (Please note this program is tentative and may reschedule/Cancel at any moment depending upon the Covid Situation.)
2.  Annual Picnic : The scheduled date of our annual Picnic is 26th Jan’22. This is a contributory day out program along with family & friends. Normally we observe picnic in a Big Farm House outside city area with limited number of participants only, therefore we plan to organise Picnic as per our scheduled date that is on 26th Jan’22. A separate mail with all details will be circulated soon.
3. Saraswati Puja : Scheduled on 5th Feb’22 (Saturday). We will worship Shri Shri Saraswati Puja on 5th Feb’22 (Saturday) at HUDA COMMUNITY CENTER, Sector-56, Gurgaon. We may go with open to all or restricted entry for devotees based on the Covid situation at that time. A detailed mail will be circulated in last week of Jan’22.
4.  Bhasa Dibos (International Mother Language Day) : Scheduled on 20th Feb’22 (Sunday). We will take a call considering the Covid situation. Mail intimation will be given by 2nd week of Feb’22.

Once again I am thanking to all of you for your support to organise our events successfully. I am positive that we will receive continued support from all and are committed to keep our BPG’s flag flying high. Please don’t forget to maintain COVID regulations.
