We are happy to announce that this year for the first time we will be Introducing Pre-Puja events on the auspicious day of Mahalaya (Sunday, the 25^th September, 2022) to make it more exciting and eventful. We are coming up with:

1. Kite Flying Festival
2. Salad Plating Competition

1. Kite Flying Festival (আকাশে আজ রঙের মেলা)

Let us bring our childhood back with a wonderful experience of kites flying.

Let’s fly high and paint the sky.

• Venue: BPG Puja ground ( opposite to Sector 56 More market)
• Time: 11 am onwards

PLEASE NOTE:

• Children below 10 years must be supervised by the adults.
• Be sure to have sufficient safe space around you.
• Participants are advised to carry sunglasses.
• It’s a fun activity – no competition.
• Kites and threads (lathai) will be provided by the committee (please return the same post the event)
• Book your slot at the venue on “first come first serve” basis.

2.    Salad Plating Competition  (আহারে বাহার)

Salad (Veg/Non-veg/Fruits) Plating competition

Go into whirls of imagination and highlight your creativity & expertise by presenting your salad platter.

RULES & REGULATIONS:

Duration of the competition will be 40 minutes

• Only adults are eligible to participate.
• Participants need to reach the venue at least 20 minutes prior to the scheduled time and arrange their designated table.
• Participants will bring their own materials. The committee will provide no ingredients or utensils.
• No hot cooking will be allowed, if required, participants can carry semi-cooked ingredients.
• Entire Plating (Including Cutting) needed to be done at the venue (during the competition) only.
• The name & concept of the salad should be displayed beside the salad presentation.
• Participants will be given 1 minute to explain the platter and its concept.
• Health & hygiene should be our first priority.

Judge’s decision will be final wherein judging criteria would be.

• Creativity & presentation
• Conceptualization & naming
• Taste
