Advance Puja greetings from Sports Committee, Bangiya Parishad Gurgaon.

The greatest festival of Bengal is just a few days away. After two long years of “Social Distancing”, we are back to the normal fervour of Durga Puja this year. Since you already know that this year, our Puja theme is “75 years of Indian Independence”, we have put our best effort to organize the sports events in line with the essence of freedom – “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”.

We invite you all to come forward and participate in the upcoming events to make it a gala celebration.

Event details are as follows –

SAPTAMI (2nd October 2022)

1. Swadhinotay Bharatbarsha (Fancy Dress) – 10:30 am to 11:00 am

               Group – I (Age 3 years to below 6 years)

               Group – II (Age 6 years to below 10 years)

1. Abritti Protijogita – 11: 15 am to 12:00 pm

             Group – I (Age 3 year to below 6 years)

Poem options: 1. Ghum Parani Mashi Pisi  2. Obak kando  3. Naton Naton Payra

             Group – II (Age 6 years to below 10 years)

Poem options: 1. Adarsha Chele  2. Master Babu  3. Khuku o Khoka

             Group – III (Age 10 years to below 15 years)

            Group – IV (Age 15 years & above)

1. Ladies Event  – Ghor Konya – 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm

ASHTAMI (3rd October), 2022

1. Drawing Competition – 10:30 am to 11: 00 am

 Group – I (Age 3 year to below 6 years) Theme Ganesha

Group – II (Age 6 years to below 10 years) Theme Rainy Day

Group – III (Age 10 years to below 15 years) theme Dawn

Group – IV (Age 15 years & above) Theme any Tribal Art form

For all the participants of Drawing Competition, drawing sheets will be provided by the Sports Committee. Pencil, eraser, sharpener, colours, brushes etc. to be carried by the participants. For group- I sheets with picture will be provided and kids need to colour only.

1. Senior Citizen Event – Sobe mile kheli cholo  – 11:15 am to 11:45 am
2. Men’s Event – Jashmin Deshe Jodachar  –  12:00 pm to 12:30 pm

NABAMI  (4th October, 2022)

1. Sankha badon protijogita – 10:30 am to 11:00 am
2. Couple Game – Sajibo joton e – 11:15 am to 12:00 pm

              Dress up in any regional attire and enact to showcase their culture Time Limit – 2 minutes

1. Quiz – Open to all age group – 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm
2. Dhunuchi Naach Protijogita – All aged 15 year and above from 6:30 pm

Note:    – The committee will try to adhere to all the timings of events mentioned above. However, the same may get changed during the day depending on the ground situation.

  – All the participants are requested to report at the cultural stage at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled time for all the above-mentioned events.

The decision taken by the respective judges and Sports Committee will be full and final. Committee/judges reserves the right to disqualify any participant(s) basis the rules of the respective events.
