With the blessings of Maa Durga, we hope to celebrate DURGA PUJA -2022 in a big way like in pre-pandemic years with full participation & enthusiasm.

We will be observing the 17th Durga Puja from 1st Oct’22 to 5th Oct’22 at Puja Ground near HUDA Community Centre, Sector -56. Gurgaon. 

We need each of your active participation and we intend to build Sub-Committees to carry out Durga Puja, Laxmi Puja, Kali Puja & Saraswati Puja.

The PUJA COMMITTEE-2022-23 will have subcommittees like Fund Raising Committee, Infrastructure Committee, Cultural Committee, Bhog Committee, Admin Committee, Puja Committee, Sports Committee, Souvenir Committee, Coordination Joint Puja Committee & Group of Members.

Those who can devote some time before & after the events and FULL TIME DURING DURGA PUJA will be given preference to lead the Sub-Committees. Also it is expected the presence of all Puja Committee members in all PUJA Committee Meetings (3/4 Meetings) which will be held on Sunday Evenings between 1st Aug’22 to 30th Sep’22 may forward their names through the mail (secretary@bangiyaparishad.org) on or before 20th July’22.

A brief responsibility of each Sub-Committee is as under

Fund Raising

Lead and support the process of Fund Raising by all members, volunteers, and affiliates as per budgeted expectations, Creation of Door-to-Door Collection

Team and mobilization. Co-ordination with treasurer for On-line Collections and Bill generation 

Infrastructure / Creative
Create and execute the theme-based Durga Puja Pandal and take care of the infrastructural requirements of all BPG events.
Puja

Leading all religious and ritualistic activities during the Pujas – including identification and management of required resources.

Cultural

Leading the planning and execution of all socio-cultural activities – including identification and management of required resources.

Blog

Holistically manage the food preparation & distribution-related activities during the Pujas, including identification and management of required resources.

Sports & Anandamela
Creating and managing all Games and Sports activities. Organizing Anandamela & Food Festival.

Admin Affairs

Holistically manage all administrative activities during the Pujas with identified resources to ensure seamless and safe events. Includes Security, Safety, transportation, Accommodation for Guests, Permissions, etc.

Souvenir

Create the annual Souvenir with inputs from members, authorities, and other teams. Knowledge and experience in editing, designing, and printing will be an added advantage.
Coordination-Joint Puja Committee

To Coordinate with Gurgaon-JPC and take initiative for environment-free immersion and to make necessary arrangements for successful immersion.
Special Member pool
Group of volunteers who would be working for various committees as and when required.
